The new Technical Code for Building (CTE), Law
314/2006, March 17th, includes several substantial changes in design, performance and classification of fire resistant
products. Its immediate application, from 17/09/2006 onwards, has meant a great effort for the different establishments
such as manufacturers, labs, etc. to update their products in order to meet these new fire resistance requirements. Puertas
Norma, very conscious of the situation, is now testing all its existing models, adapting them to this new Law. |

The products included within this range have been tested
and certified in authorised labs, according to the disposition
2200/1995, Dec. 28th, modified by disposition 411/1997,
March 21st.
All the products included within the range of fire resistant
products come varnished and machined in kit with hardware
included in separate package for its rapid installation on site.
Their main technical characteristics:
• Door leaf with specific construction for each resistance
and use.
• MDF-H frame with intumescent protection, included.
• Four Steel hinges (or brass-coloured iron in certain cases)
which comply with norm UNE-EN 1935:2002
• One or three point security lock, depending on the model,
which comply with norm UNE-EN 12209:2004
• Veneer wrapped architrave.
• Optional complementary hardware, such us (*):
- Opening devices with horizontal bars,
UNE-EN 1125-2003 VC1
- Door closer control devices UNE-EN 1154:2003.
- Closing option devices for double doors
UNE-EN 1158 :2003
- Electromagnet hold-back devices UNE-EN 12209 :2004

| (*) The use of optional hardware depends on the type of lock,
door function, etc. However, any of the hardware optionals has
to comply with the aforementioned Laws. |

The products in this line have been tested and certified in authorised laboratories (according to the disposition of the Ministry of Public Works and the Economy in Spain and other official dispositions according to those of each country. |
